Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Material Program Manager to lead materials management for the SM-3 IIA program. The role requires onsite presence, interfacing with Program Managers, IPTs and the Supply Chain organization to drive cost, schedule and quality.

Strong background in procurement, risk management and supplier negotiations is expected. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in supply chain or related roles, with an advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; minimum 5 years in supply chain or related area
• Advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement strategy and operations, including RFPs and risk/opportunity management
• Own material forecasts and budget management
• Drive PO creation and supplier negotiations to meet cost/schedule goals
• Monitor supplier performance and address program/functional issues
• Implement KPIs with the supply base to ensure timely delivery
• Lead cross-functional IPT interactions and liaison with Program Management Office
