Job summary

Raytheon seeks an experienced Material Program Manager to lead material strategy for development programs within the Advanced Technologies SBU. You will liaison between Program, Engineering, and supplier base to ensure material requirements are met for early lifecycle programs.

The role requires strong program management, financial acumen, and supplier-management skills, including EVMS. Onsite work at Tucson locations is required, with opportunities to influence cost, quality, and schedule

Qualifications

• University degree required with 8+ years experience in supply chain or related field.
• Experience with supplier management and subcontract management.
• Active/transferable U.S. government security clearance required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Oversee domestic suppliers' quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and execute material strategies aligned with program needs.
• Negotiate cost, schedule, and quality with suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering to support timely material procurement.
• Forecast material costs and monitor EVMS-related metrics.
• Manage supplier performance and Make/Buy/Where strategies.
• Work onsite at Tucson, AZ locations.
