Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth of the corporate portfolio and identify inorganic opportunities across healthcare sectors. Remote work is possible with regular travel to Lake Zurich, IL, prioritizing local candidates; visa sponsorship is not offered.

The role offers a $138,000–$150,000 salary with a 10% target bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), vacation, holidays, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius areas to identify inorganic growth targets.
• Lead project management with cross-functional teams to deliver on corporate projects through due diligence and business case development.
• Prepare pitch documents for management alignment and prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis and recommendations of new business areas.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases from evaluation to execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces.
• Leverage market insights to support strategy and direction discussions.
