Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to lead inorganic growth, strategic projects and new business opportunities across Fresenius' portfolio. The role interfaces with senior management and may be remote, with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; priority to local candidates.

Salary range is $138,000–$150,000 with an annual bonus target of 10%. Benefits include a 401(k) with company contributions, paid vacation and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects via due diligence, business case development, and board approvals.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal portfolio analysis and evaluation of new business areas and scenario planning.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV, and precedent analyses.
• Oversee inorganic opportunities through all phases from identification to execution.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver on corporate projects and present Fresenius as a preferred partner.
