Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through inorganic and organic strategies. The role collaborates with management, navigates due diligence and board approvals, and supports new business opportunities across healthcare segments.

Remote work possible with preference for local candidates near the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters. Salary range is $138,000–$150,000 with a 10% target bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Project management: lead cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to align and prioritize inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and evaluate new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Lead strategic corporate projects through identification, evaluation, negotiation and execution.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver on corporate projects and due diligence.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants and investment banks.
• Leverage market insights to support strategy discussions and directional decisions.
