Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through strategic inorganic opportunities and new business development, including digital health and venture investments. The role requires interaction with management and regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; remote work is possible, with priority to local candidates.

The position offers an annual salary range of $138,000–$150,000 and a target bonus of 10% of base salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field is required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and evaluation of new business areas.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases from identification to execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants and investment banks.
• Support strategy discussions with market dynamics insights.
