Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to steer strategic growth via organic and inorganic initiatives, including digital health and emerging tech. Regular travel to Lake Zurich, IL HQ is expected; local candidates preferred. Remote work may be possible.

The role carries a competitive salary of $138,000–$150,000 with a 10% target bonus and comprehensive benefits. Travel up to 15%, including international, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in business development, M&A, strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Experience in a complex matrix organization; capable of navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; travel up to 15%, including international.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, and targets for inorganic growth across Fresenius business areas.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams from due diligence to board approval and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents to secure management alignment on strategic targets.
• Manage portfolio analysis, target evaluations, scenario planning and modeling.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses; oversee end-to-end deals.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive corporate projects and strategic initiatives.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external stakeholders and banks.
• Leverage market insights to inform strategy and future directions.
