Job summary
Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth of the corporate portfolio through strategic inorganic and organic initiatives, including digital health and venture opportunities. The role reports to senior management and involves regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.
Remote work is possible with priority for local applicants. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in BD/M&A/Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to travel up to 15% (incl. international).
Responsibilities
- Analyze markets, segments, sectors, and companies/assets for inorganic growth targets.
- Lead project management with cross-functional teams and oversee due diligence, business cases, and board approvals.
- Prepare pitch documents to align management and prioritize inorganic targets.
- Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis, evaluations, and scenario modeling.
- Build valuations using DCF, NPV, and precedent analyses for target assets.
- Represent Fresenius Kabi in external interfaces with advisors and partners.
