Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a Manager for Corporate Portfolio & M&A to drive growth through strategic inorganic opportunities and new business development, including digital health and emerging technologies. The role requires collaboration with global teams and regular interactions with management.

Regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters is expected; local candidates preferred. This role offers bonus eligibility (target 10% of base) and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required. MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to align and prioritize inorganic targets.
• Manage internal portfolio analysis and recommendation of new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Oversee strategic corporate projects through all phases from identification to execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces.
• Leverage market dynamics to support strategy discussions and future direction.
