Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth across the corporate portfolio through both organic and inorganic strategic initiatives and new business development opportunities including digital health and venture investments.

The role interacts with Fresenius management teams and may be remote with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; local candidates are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in BD, M&A, Strategy and business analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify inorganic growth targets.
• Lead and collaborate with functional leads and cross functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for Fresenius management to align and prioritize inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis and recommend new business areas, target evaluations, scenario planning and modeling.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases including identification, evaluation, negotiation and execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants, brokers, and investment banks.
• Leverage market dynamics to support strategy discussions and future business direction.
