Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth of the corporate portfolio through both organic and inorganic strategic initiatives. The role collaborates with Fresenius management to identify opportunities in digital health, venture investments, and emerging technologies.

The position involves due diligence, business-case development, and board approvals, with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas for inorganic growth.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams to deliver due diligence, business case development, and board approvals.
• Prepare pitch documents for management alignment on inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis and target evaluations.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV, and precedent analysis.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through identification, evaluation, negotiation, and execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces.
• Leverage market insights to support strategy discussions and future direction.
