Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and support the implementation of logistics solutions for clients, driving profitability and effective handoffs from sales to implementation. You will lead with strategic thinking, business acumen, and strong problem‑solving skills.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain management, solid MS Office proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN/Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand the client's systems/applications used in current state, overall objectives and requirements to propose the best solution for their needs.
• Document the future solution to help with the production of presentations and other documentation as needed.
• Help create pricing strategies for Transportation Insight service offerings that are both competitive and attractive to prospective clients.
• Assist sales personnel in demonstrating technology platforms that lead to closure of new business.
• Effectively communicate with prospects and clients at the necessary pace, utilizing phone, web and on site as appropriate.
• Assess from continuous improvement standpoint the standard approach for the transitioning of clients from the sales organization to implementation/account management teams.
• Support ongoing improvement efforts by documenting best practices.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
