Transportation Insight seeks a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and support logistics solutions that enhance client business models. You will analyze current states, lead cross‑functional teams, and price multi‑mode services for prospective clients, enabling profitable implementations.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across organizations, apply TMS experience, and guide the deal cycle with strategic insights and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if not in business.
• 5+ years in logistics or supply chain management.
• Minimum 4+ years of complex, consultative solutions experience.
• Direct consulting experience in transportation/logistics at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Transportation Insight's value and differentiators to clients and prospects.
• Gather client requirements and identify drivers for value-based improvements.
• Assess prospects' current state and document gaps and opportunities.
• Coordinate assessment processes and ensure timelines are met across teams.
• Understand client systems and requirements to propose optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategy and framework.
• Support solution design meetings and coordinate internal resources.
• Document future solutions for presentations and client documents.
• Contribute to pricing strategies for competitive client offerings.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to close deals.
• Communicate with prospects and clients by phone, web, and on-site as needed.
• Capture unfulfilled needs and advise Solutions leadership with recommendations.
• Evaluate and improve handoff from sales to implementation/account management.
