Job summary

Sysco Southeast Florida, LLC is seeking a Local New Business Developer to improve market position and drive growth. You will execute long-term strategic goals, prioritize analytics, and leverage Salesforce for lead generation while negotiating contracts to win new business.

The role employs a team-selling approach, engaging cross-functional teams to create strategies, build relationships with prospects, and transition accounts to the sales force during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Solid analytical problem-solving skills with data insights
• Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost and expense ratio
• Strong financial acumen and ability to plan and execute business plans

Responsibilities

• Deliver the local new business plan in alignment with financial goals
• Work with regional sales leaders on developing a comprehensive business development strategy
• Leverage advanced analytics insights to prioritize opportunities and regional strategy
• Coordinate proposal process for local contracts (LC2) with leadership approval
• Collaborate with sales team to expand business development efforts and secure key accounts
• Review weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives and prepare improvement action plans
