Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Account Manager in Lynchburg, VA to drive revenue from commercial, government and institutional customers. You will manage product sales, build relationships, and lead pricing strategies while meeting annual sales goals.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in sales within electrical/lighting supplies, with a focus on delivering customer value and coordinating training and credit terms when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with electrical/lighting supplies.
• 2-5 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Calling on commercial, government and institutional customers and driving lighting projects.
• Manage the sales of products and services to account base.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Regular end user joint calls with suppliers.
• Develop customer pricing strategy that enhances profitability.
• Quote prices and credit terms.
• Coordinate customer training.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues.
• Attend trade shows and meetings.
• Attend training as required by Capital Electric.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
