Capital Electric in West Columbia, SC is seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue through electrical/lighting product sales and to build strong customer relationships with commercial, government, and institutional clients. You will lead sales efforts, develop new accounts, quote prices, and coordinate training and support with suppliers to meet annual sales goals.

The role requires 2–5 years of sales experience in electrical or lighting supplies and a customer-service background.

Responsibilities

• Calling on commercial, government and institutional customers as well as driving lighting projects.
• Manage the sales of products and services to account base.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Regular end user joint calls with suppliers.
• Develop sales leads.
• Develop customer pricing strategy that enhances profitability.
• Quote prices and credit terms.
• Coordinate customer training.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues.
• Attend trade shows and meetings.
• Attend training as required by Capital Electric.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Other duties as required.
