Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Account Manager in Richmond, VA to grow sales and manage customer relationships. You will drive lighting projects and coordinate with suppliers to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical/lighting supplies.
• 2-5 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Calling on commercial, government and institutional customers and driving lighting projects.
• Manage sales of products and services to the account base.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Regular end user joint calls with suppliers.
• Develop customer pricing strategy that enhances profitability.
• Quote prices and credit terms.
• Coordinate customer training.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues.
• Attend trade shows and meetings.
• Attend training as required by Capital Electric.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Other duties as required.
