Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring an Industrial Account Manager to drive income through product sales, build relationships with industrial, government, institutional and OEM customers, and lead sales efforts.

You will manage product and service sales to an account base, develop new relationships, and coordinate training and pricing strategies to boost profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical/lighting supplies is required.
• Background in customer service is preferred.
• 2-5 years of sales experience in relevant sectors is expected.

Responsibilities

• Calling on industrial, government, institutional and OEM customers and driving lighting projects.
• Manage the sales of products and services to account base.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Regular end user joint calls with suppliers.
• Develop sales leads and pricing strategies that enhance profitability.
• Quote prices and credit terms; coordinate customer training.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues; attend trade shows and meetings.
• Participate in required Capital Electric training and other duties as assigned.
