Job summary

University Partners in Dallas, TX is seeking a Centralized Leasing Specialist to drive high-priority leasing activity across our student housing portfolio. You will own the leasing funnel from leads to renewals, logging actions in Entrata and coordinating with property managers to optimize occupancy.

The role is hybrid, with on-site work Monday–Thursday and remote Fridays, requiring strong prospecting, fast follow-up, and a proven ability to convert leads into tours and leases.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, sales, or customer-facing roles, preferably in student or multifamily housing.
• At least one year of Leasing Consultant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Entrata and Bonfire (or comparable leasing/CRM platforms) strongly preferred.
• Strong phone presence, written communication, and organizational skills.
• High sense of urgency, self-motivation, and comfort working independently in a remote/centralized capacity.
• Ability to interpret pipeline data and prioritize outreach accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Lead Management: Pull and review leads by property; identify prospects not contacted in the past two days; execute timely outreach via call, email, and text; log detailed notes after interactions.
• Application Follow-Up: Review activity notes to determine true application status; chase incomplete applications; identify roommate gaps to close groups.
• Renewals: Contact residents and guarantors; confirm rates and floorplan availability and communicate deadlines.
• Platform Outreach: Conduct prospect outreach and maintain clean conversation records; audit message history for quality and consistency.
• Tracking & Reporting: Log conversations in Entrata; track performance against Leasing Performance Report; document market feedback per site.
• Prospect Feedback: Gather insights to identify trends and opportunities; translate into actionable recommendations for leadership.
