Socket.dev is seeking a Lead Learning Systems & Instructional Design Specialist in Indiana to collaborate with the Director of Instructional Design and Technology. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Experience with LMS management, IT systems/admin in higher ed.
• 3+ years in teaching or curriculum development (online/hybrid/in-person).
• Experience creating instructor-led and self-paced training (virtual).
• Experience developing training programs for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles, UDL, and accessibility best practices.
• Knowledge of ADA/WCAG and accessible materials creation.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
• Experience end-user LMS support and issue troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Experience with online meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Meet, Teams).
• Knowledge of AI use in teaching and learning; commitment to accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Partner with faculty to design and develop online and hybrid courses aligned with standards.
• Consult on pedagogy and effective use of educational technologies.
• Develop instructional materials, videos, and online modules for various formats.
• Incorporate AI thoughtfully into course design and pedagogy.
• Apply Universal Design for Learning to content and delivery.
• Create trainer materials, online courses, and workshops for staff and students.
• Evaluate new instructional technologies and recommend improvements.
• Stay current with trends in instructional technology and LMS platforms.
• Conduct training needs assessments and measure program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop learning solutions aligned with goals.
• Share responsibility for LMS administration, configuration, and user support.
• Monitor LMS usage, reports, and compliance with policies.
