U.S. Bank is seeking a Learning Consultant to translate business goals into structured learning journeys and programs.

You will partner with leaders, instructional designers, and SMEs to ensure solutions align with strategy and drive capability, readiness, and performance. The role requires building trusted advisor relationships, guiding discovery, and establishing governance to scale learning across the business line.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of learning and development, HR, business, or managerial experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong business partnerships and lead learning solutions.
• Expertise in adult learning principles and modern blended learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Consultation & partnership with business leaders to understand strategy, operating context, talent, and performance priorities.
• Lead structured discovery to identify root causes of performance gaps (learning and non-learning).
• Guide stakeholders toward enterprise-aligned solutions addressing the business line’s needs.
• Act as a connector across the business line, GL&D, and HR to drive ownership and clarity.
• Translate strategy into structured learning journeys, programs, and experiences.
• Partner with instructional designers, facilitators, and SMEs to align resources and execution.
• Establish governance routines and decision forums to maintain momentum.
• Ensure programs are scalable, sustainable, and integrated into flow of work.
• Define success metrics tied to capability, readiness, and outcomes.
