Job summary

LA28 in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate, Volunteer Experience to shape the volunteer journey from Pre-Games through Games-time, focusing on day-to-day operations at the Volunteer Experience Center and supporting the morale and readiness of thousands of volunteers.

The role requires at least 3 years in volunteer programs, customer service, event operations, or workforce operations, and a Bachelor's degree (or 3 years equivalent).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in volunteer programs, customer service, event operations, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree; or 3 years of equivalent experience in volunteer programs, event operations, or workforce operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate day-to-day operations of the Volunteer Experience Center, including logistics, schedules and resources to deliver a welcoming and engaging experience for all volunteer candidates.
• Coordinate the successful delivery of volunteer assessments including both the in-person and virtual experience, assisting with associated training activities, and delivering volunteer engagement activities.
• Oversee all Volunteer Support Crew operations and engagement efforts as well support operational paid staff as needed.
• Support delivery of the volunteer reward and recognition program from Pre-Games to Games-time ensuring all LA28 volunteers are motivated and engaged throughout the journey.
