LA28 seeks an Associate, Volunteer Experience to shape the volunteer journey from Pre-Games through Games-time, ensuring the Volunteer Experience Center delivers a welcoming and engaging experience. You will support operations, training, and engagement activities for volunteers and staff in a dynamic environment.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple programs while working on-site in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in volunteer programs, customer service, event operations, workforce operations, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree; or 3 years of equivalent experience in volunteer programs, event operations, or workforce operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and warmly with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and managing information in databases, CRM systems, or similar volunteer management tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the day-to-day operations of the Volunteer Experience Center, from pre-Games through to Games-time including logistics, schedules and resources to deliver a welcoming and engaging experience for all volunteer candidates.
• Coordinate the successful delivery of volunteer assessments including both the in-person and virtual experience, assisting with associated training activities, and delivering volunteer engagement activities.
• Oversee all Volunteer Support Crew operations and engagement efforts as well support operational paid staff as needed.
• Support delivery of the volunteer reward and recognition program from Pre-Games to Games- time ensuring all LA28 volunteers are motivated and engaged throughout the journey.
