Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP Learning and Leadership Development to design, deliver, and continuously improve leadership development experiences across the organization. This role leverages expertise in leadership development, adult learning, facilitation, and learning experience product design to strengthen leader effectiveness and accelerate strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in learning, facilitation, operations, enablement, or related functions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience in a related field.
• Expertise in Leadership Development, Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or related fields.
• Advanced facilitation experience across virtual, hybrid, and in-person leadership programs.
• Strong learning and instructional design grounded in adult learning and behavior change.
• Experience designing and facilitating programs for leaders at multiple levels.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally to design and deliver learning experiences.
• Knowledge of learning evaluation and program effectiveness methods.
• Ability to use AI, automation, and emerging tools to improve learning and efficiency.
• Strong organization, communication, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate leadership development for new, experienced, and senior leaders.
• Lead workshops, cohorts, and immersive experiences that build practical leadership capability.
• Create engaging environments for discussion, reflection, practice, and peer learning.
• Strengthen leader self-awareness, coaching, decision-making, empowerment, and team effectiveness.
• Help leaders apply learning directly in the flow of work.
