Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Learning and Development Lead in Pittsburgh, PA. You will own the L&D strategy and portfolio, shaping leadership development and onboarding to meet future capability needs.

You will partner with People Experience and other teams to design scalable learning tools and programs that drive measurable impact. You will apply product management disciplines, manage budgets, and explore AI-driven learning tools to advance our capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in L&D, OD, or related HR discipline.
• Proven partnership with business leaders to build learning solutions.
• Product management experience including roadmapping and prioritization.
• Strong instructional design skills grounded in adult learning principles.
• Experience using data to evaluate impact and shape strategy.
• Excellent facilitation and executive communication skills.
• Vendor and budget management experience and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Own learning and development strategy and portfolio aligned to business priorities.
• Evolve leadership and manager development offerings from onboarding to advanced skills.
• Partner with HR and workforce teams to design scalable tools (guides, toolkits, cohorts).
• Manage programs end-to-end: needs assessment, design, delivery, evaluation.
• Ensure compliance training is current and tracked.
• Apply product management discipline: roadmaps and stakeholder buy-in.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven learning tools to drive adoption.
• Maintain resourcing, course budget, and vendor relationships.
• Track metrics and report learning impact to senior leadership.
