Job summary

Host Terminals in Avondale, LA seeks a Key Account and Compliance Manager to grow strategic relationships with major clients. This role reports to the Traffic Manager and collaborates across sales, operations, logistics, and quality teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

The ideal candidate will manage commercial and inventory compliance, including FTZ/bonded requirements, and drive continuous improvement in SOPs and customer satisfaction. This position is full-time and exempt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of three years of experience in maritime shipping or a related field.
• Experience in managing key accounts and customer relationships at a senior level.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and serve as primary contact.
• Align company services with customer objectives to drive revenue and retention.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Quality, and Technical teams to ensure service delivery.
• Lead inventory and compliance oversight for FTZ/bonded processes and audits.
• Support contract implementation, reviews, and commercial discussions to maintain profitability.
