Job summary

Host Terminals is seeking a Scale and Traffic Administration Clerk in Avondale, LA. You will administer weigh bridges, log trucks, and interact with drivers and stakeholders. The role includes record keeping, process improvements, and involvement with rail movements and paperwork.

Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be proactive, flexible, and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and drivers; direct trucks entering and exiting the facility.
• Weigh trucks in and out; prepare or execute documents like work orders and bills of lading.
• Track weight information in the computer system and obtain signatures.
• Collaborate with CSR team on cargo documentation and verify records for accuracy.
• Maintain Scale House upkeep and coordinate with terminal operations.
• Assist with office duties, clerical tasks, and filing as needed.
• Ensure PPE compliance and safety for customers.
