Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature the lean portfolio and project management framework across the IT organization.

You will partner with IT and Business leaders to develop value-driven plans, manage budgets from $10M to $100M, and align initiatives with strategic goals. You will report on portfolio health, risks, and ROI while coaching teams in Lean-Agile delivery. The role requires strong collaboration with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
• Seven or more years in IT Program/Project Management with portfolio management experience.
• Experience with Lean-Agile frameworks and ALM tools (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum).

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio budgets ranging from $10M–$100M and coordinate with IT Finance for forecasting.
• Build relationships with IT and Business partners to align budgets, plans and benefits.
• Support capital expense planning, cost estimation, and lean business cases for funding.
• Provide portfolio status reporting and KPI insights to IT Leadership on budget, schedule and ROI.
• Coach teams in Lean-Agile practices and empower cross-functional delivery teams.
• Define and optimize portfolio management processes, governance, and reporting.
• Oversee deployment of the project portfolio management solution across IT.
• Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive continuous process improvements across Delivery Leads and PMs.
• Assist with risk and dependency management to improve value flow.
