Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature the lean portfolio and project management framework across IT. You will foster collaboration with IT and business partners to identify cost-effective solutions that deliver strategic value.

You will combine lean portfolio principles with Ryder's technology portfolio to develop value-oriented plans, manage portfolio reporting standards, and provide leadership on budget, schedule, risks, and investments across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
• Seven (7) years or more IT Program/Project Management with demonstrated project portfolio management skills.
• Six (6) years or more process improvement or project management with at least 6+ years as a Portfolio Manager/Delivery Lead.
• Three (3) years or more experience with multiple Agile Delivery Frameworks/Tools.

Responsibilities

• Mature lean portfolio/project management framework across IT to foster partnerships.
• Develop value-oriented plans guiding proactive decision-making.
• Maintain portfolio status reporting standards and report KPIs to IT Leadership.
• Support capital expense planning and lean business cases for funding.
• Guide value-driven development aligned with organizational OKRs.
