Job summary

Pacific Office Automation is seeking a Technical Account Manager for its Managed IT division in Beaverton. You will manage a client portfolio, act as a technical and consultative advisor, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize IT environments.

The role requires strong EQ, strategic thinking, executive-level communication, and a track record of IT budgeting and roadmapping. On-site location in Beaverton, OR; compensation $60k–$100k DOE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in TAM, vCIO, IT Director, or senior IT consultant.
• Experience with IT budgeting, strategic planning, and technology roadmaps.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and conducting TBRs.
• Strong ROI analysis and cost-benefit justification for IT investments.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business language.
• Deep knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technologies including networks, security, and collaboration platforms.
• Strong customer service and client retention skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Calm under pressure while handling client escalations.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and serve as a technical and consultative resource.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Helpdesk, Onboarding, and Project Delivery to evolve clients' IT environments.
• Bridge the gap between technical requirements and business outcomes for clients.
