Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking an Integrated Supply Account Specialist to drive sales, expand our integrated supply solutions, and improve profitability within assigned accounts. You will develop value propositions, manage customer relationships, and coordinate with vendors to transition to franchised offerings.

Success requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, 3+ years in supply chain or distribution, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance) and 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or wholesale distribution.
• Demonstrated product and sales knowledge.
• Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products and the ability to learn company-specific software applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to explore, solicit and obtain new sales opportunities within assigned integrated supply account.
• Build rapport with customers and understand needs to generate value-added propositions around products and services.
• Drive cost savings commitments and ensure goals are captured in Vallen systems and the customer's ERP.
• Design and implement strategic sales plans to develop assigned accounts to meet or exceed obligations.
• Collaborate with Vendor/Supplier community to support solutions selling opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
