Job summary

Gallagher in Chicago, IL is seeking a results-driven insurance sales professional to drive revenue growth by connecting Retail Agents with national markets and delivering underwriting solutions through strong carrier relationships. You will prospect and develop new business with Retail Agents and carriers, pre-qualify submissions, analyze risks, and tailor coverage and pricing.

A Bachelor's degree, 3+ years' experience, and a P&C license (or willingness to obtain) are required; MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience.
• P&C license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business with Retail Agents and Carrier Underwriters.
• Market and sell wholesale insurance solutions to achieve production goals.
• Build relationships with Specialty Carriers for pricing and access to coverage.
• Pre-qualify submissions and focus on high-probability opportunities.
• Analyze submissions to determine best carrier, coverage, and premium.
• Gather client risk information and identify exposures to quote.
• Stay ahead of industry trends affecting underwriting guidelines, pricing, and premiums.
• Educate partners on Gallagher's range of risk solutions.
• Lead, train, and oversee support team when assigned.
• Travel as needed to engage with clients and carriers.
