Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a dynamic Insurance Sales and Underwriting professional to drive revenue growth by connecting Retail Agents with national markets and delivering underwriting solutions through carrier relationships. You will prospect, market, and sell wholesale insurance products while building strong carrier partnerships and guiding submissions through the underwriting process.

A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience are required, with licensure or willingness to obtain a Home State

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Home state P&C license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Sales experience in insurance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business through networking with Retail Agents and Carrier Underwriters.
• Market and sell wholesale insurance solutions to achieve production goals.
• Build strong relationships with Specialty Carriers to ensure competitive pricing and access to coverage.
• Pre-qualify submissions and focus on high-probability sales opportunities.
• Analyze submissions from Retail Agents and determine best carrier, coverage, forms, and premium.
• Gather information on client risks and identify additional exposure for quoting.
• Stay ahead of industry trends affecting underwriting guidelines, pricing, and premiums.
• Educate partners on Gallagher’s range of risk solutions.
• Lead, train, and oversee the support team when assigned.
• Travel as needed to engage with clients and carriers.
