Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking an Account Manager for the Small Business Unit to manage client relationships and provide strategic guidance on coverage, risk management, and growth. You will tailor insurance plans, coordinate renewals, and act as liaison with carriers to bind coverage when needed.

Ideal candidates have a Property & Casualty license, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty License from state of domicile required or maintained.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong communication skills essential.
• Experience in personal lines and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for clients, guiding coverage changes and requirements.
• Develop tailored insurance plans aligned with client goals.
• Underwrite and bind coverage with carriers when appropriate.
• Manage renewals, proposals, quotes, and billing options.
• Assist with claims coordination and carrier communications.
• Review policies during renewals and audits for accuracy.
• Drive process improvements and adopt AI-enabled workflows.
