Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for the Small Business Unit to manage client relationships and provide strategic coverage guidance. You will oversee renewals, prepare proposals, and coordinate risk analyses to ensure client goals align with their long-term plans.

You will bind coverage with carriers, assist with claims coordination, and stay current with industry developments, products, and legislative changes to enhance client service.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty License from domicile is required and must be maintained.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a four-year degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of account management experience in the insurance industry (personal lines).
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus or required in some locations.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities; excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; power user of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the main contact for clients, addressing inquiries and guiding coverage changes.
• Partners in strategic development of insurance plans tailored to client needs.
• Manages renewal remarketing to optimize client retention.
• Prepares client proposals, submissions, and risk analyses with timely quotations.
• Assists clients with claims processes and liaises with adjusters and carriers.
• Reviews renewals and audits for accuracy and identifies corrective actions.
