SERVPRO Industries, LLC is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design and maintain engaging learning content for franchisees and HQ. You will translate operational needs into effective on-demand, virtual, and live training experiences while ensuring brand alignment and content governance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with SMEs, Field Capability, and Project Managers to deliver multi-modality programs and continuous improvement across SERVPRO Schools and onboarding tracks.

Formación

• 3+ years of instructional design experience in corporate training, L&D, or franchise/field-based environments.
• Experience designing multi-modality learning (on-demand, ILT, blended).
• Background in SERVPRO Schools preferred.
• Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia).
• Understanding of LMS structure, content governance, and metadata best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to tailor content for diverse learners.
• Collaborative mindset across L&D and Operations.
• Field-first orientation with understanding of operational realities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and instructional excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Build high-quality learning content for on-demand modules, instructor-led training, blended programs, and microlearning.
• Translate operational standards, SOPs, and business needs into measurable learning objectives and structured learning experiences.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, participant guides, assessments, and multimedia assets.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business goals, performance gaps, and learner needs.
• Partner with SMEs (HQ and franchise) to validate content accuracy and ensure alignment with real-world operational practices.
• Collaborate with Field Capability to ensure ILT content supports evolving learning objectives.
• Ensure all content adheres to SERVPRO’s content standards, brand voice, and instructional design standards.
• Maintain version control and support content lifecycle management in partnership with the LMS Architect & Governance role.
• Conduct QA reviews of courses to ensure clarity, accessibility, and instructional integrity.
• Design assessments, knowledge checks, and capability validation tools that measure learner progress and operational readiness.
• Work closely with Learning Experience to ensure content is properly structured, tagged, and optimized within the LMS.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to scope, plan, and execute content development projects.
• Incorporate learner feedback, data insights, and operational changes into content updates.
• Stay current on instructional design trends, adult learning principles, and edtech tools.
