Job summary

SERVPRO Industries, LLC seeks an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality learning content for SERVPRO Schools of Learning. You will create on-demand modules, ILT, blended programs, and microlearning that align with operational standards and brand guidelines.

Collaborating with HQ and franchise SMEs, you’ll translate needs into engaging experiences and ensure content accuracy across live, virtual, and self-paced formats, while maintaining version control and lifecycle

Qualifications

• 3+ years of instructional design experience in corporate training or franchise environments.
• Experience designing multi-modality learning (on-demand, ILT, blended).
• Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia).
• Understanding of LMS structure, content governance, and metadata best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration across L&D and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality learning content for on-demand modules, ILT, blended programs, and microlearning.
• Translate standards and business needs into measurable learning objectives and structured experiences.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, participant guides, assessments, and multimedia assets.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business goals and learner needs.
• Partner with SMEs to validate content accuracy and alignment with real-world practices.
• Collaborate with Field Capability to ensure ILT content supports evolving objectives.
• Maintain content standards, brand voice, and instructional design guidelines.
• Design assessments and knowledge checks to measure learner progress.
