Job summary

SERVPRO Industries, LLC is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create, curate, and maintain high-quality learning content across franchise and HQ programs. You will translate operations into engaging, instructional experiences delivered through on-demand, virtual, and live formats.

You will build modules, develop storyboards and assessments, and collaborate with SMEs and field teams to ensure content aligns with brand and learning strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of instructional design experience in corporate training or franchise environments.
• Experience designing multi-modality learning (on-demand, ILT, blended).
• Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, etc.).
• Understanding of LMS structure, governance, and metadata best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex information.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality learning content for on-demand modules, ILT, blended programs, and microlearning.
• Translate operational standards into measurable learning objectives and structured experiences.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, participant guides, assessments, and multimedia assets.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand goals, gaps, and learner needs.
• Partner with SMEs to validate content accuracy and ensure alignment with practices.
• Collaborate with Field Capability to ensure ILT content supports evolving objectives.
• Maintain content standards, brand voice, and instructional design quality.
• Design assessments, knowledge checks, and capability validation tools.
• Work with Learning Experience to ensure content is properly structured and tagged in the LMS.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to scope and execute content development projects.
