Job summary

Edge, a division of NEFCO Construction Supply, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to manage quotes and orders for NEFCO customers. You will generate new business, maintain key accounts, and provide pricing and product guidance while coordinating with purchasing to source stock.

Ideal candidates excel in fast-paced environments, have strong communication and customer service skills, and can input orders accurately into the ERP system. Weekly sales meetings and product training are included.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building.
• Regular attendance and punctuality to ensure timely customer responses.
• Degree preferred, industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests from customers and outside sales for price quotations, availability, and orders.
• Generate new business and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
• Meet and exceed sales and gross profit goals individually and as a team.
• Provide pricing and product application information, and identify add-on sales opportunities.
• Input orders into the sales system and schedule them per customer requirements.
• Coordinate with purchasing to source materials not in stock and communicate with stakeholders.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and maintain product knowledge across catalogs and platforms.
