Job summary

Wesco, a leading business-to-business distributor, seeks a Manager - Inside Sales in Denver to lead and grow the inside sales team. You will align strategies with branch leadership, develop training programs, and drive profitability through strong customer focus and market expansion.

You will coach the team, coordinate with field sales, and maintain key account relationships while implementing effective sales initiatives and reporting on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales leadership or inside sales management
• Experience in distribution industry is preferred
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and development of sales teams

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage business plan and sales strategy to attain goals and profitability
• Partner with supplier partners to achieve mutual growth plans
• Coach and mentor inside sales personnel
• Provide customers with creative, broad-based solutions to achieve goals
• Coordinate with inside and field sales leaders for effective communication
• Maintain strategic account relationships within the branch
• Oversee performance and development of the inside sales team
• Conduct one-on-one reviews to improve team communication and development
• Create action plans to improve lead search and prospecting
• Identify new sales initiatives and penetrate new markets
• Support marketing plan implementation
• Coordinate sales activities across divisions
• Maintain accurate pricing, sales, and activity records
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction in the market area
