Wesco International, Inc. is seeking a Manager - Inside Sales in Minnesota to lead and evolve the inside sales team, shape strategic directions, and drive profitability and growth for assigned markets.

You will partner with sales leaders, coach staff, and develop training programs to maximize customer satisfaction and expand the customer base. This role emphasizes team leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration across branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of previous inside sales management experience.
• 4 years inside sales management with distribution industry experience preferred.
• 4 years of creating new or advancing sales channels preferred.
• 4 years of training and developing a sales force preferred.
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution products and markets preferred.
• Strong consultative sales skills and ability to coach a growing team.
• Understanding of marketing, sales tactics, and customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Executes and manages business plan and sales strategy to meet branch goals.
• Plans and partners with supplier partners to achieve mutual growth.
• Coaches and mentors inside sales personnel.
• Provides customers with solutions to achieve their goals.
• Coordinates with inside and field sales leaders for effective communication.
• Maintains strategic account responsibility in branch.
• Oversees performance and development of the inside sales team.
• Conducts one-on-one reviews to improve team communication and performance.
• Prepares action plans for lead generation and prospecting.
• Identifies new sales initiatives and penetrates new markets.
• Supports marketing plan implementation.
• Ensures accurate pricing, sales, and activity reports.
