Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Manager - Inside Sales to lead the inside sales team across assigned markets and drive profitability in line with the company's vision. You will collaborate with Sales leadership to staff, direct, and develop the team while expanding the customer base.

The role emphasizes coaching, development, and strategic execution to achieve sales goals, profitability, and customer satisfaction. 25% travel may be required to support growth and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2 years of previous inside sales management required.
• 4 years inside sales management with experience in distribution preferred.
• 4 years of creating new or significantly advancing sales channels preferred.
• 4 years of training and developing a sales force preferred.
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution products and markets preferred.
• Strong sales, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Executes and manages business plan and sales strategy for branch to meet sales goals.
• Plans and partners with supplier partners to achieve mutual growth.
• Coaches and mentors inside sales personnel.
• Offers customers broad-based solutions to reach goals.
• Coordinates with inside and field sales leaders for effective communication.
• Maintains strategic account responsibility in branch.
• Oversees performance and development of inside sales team.
• Conducts one-on-one reviews to improve team communications and training.
• Prepares action plans for sales leads and prospects.
• Identifies and creates new sales initiatives to penetrate new markets.
• Assists in implementation of marketing plans.
• Coordinates sales activities with divisions.
• Maintains accurate pricing, sales and activity records.
• Maintains contact with clients to ensure satisfaction.
