Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Irvine, CA is seeking an Inside Sales/Account Management professional to respond to customer inquiries, enter orders, and maintain strong customer relations.

You will quote prices using internal data, coordinate with estimators, and ensure accurate order entry while protecting the company's financial interests. You will act as a liaison across departments to resolve shipping delays and ensure timely deliveries, while maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret business-related documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with outside customers to resolve inquiries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (V-lookup, Pivot).
• Knowledge of ERP systems and customer portal applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as an account manager for strategic customers.
• Provide customer quotations based on pricing data and estimates.
• Coordinate with Estimator/Inside Sales for pricing guidance.
• Investigate shipping dates and resolve delays with customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers, distributors, and suppliers.
• Complete PO reviews to ensure accurate entry and matching quotes.
• Document responses and meet deadlines for bids and orders.
• Coordinate across departments for pricing, shipping, and delivery dates.
• Utilize data/tools to level-load the shop and support returns/adjustments.
• Maintain access to customer portals and cross-train with Inside Sales.
