Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Senior Director of Sales to drive revenue, margin, and order flow through plant-aligned sales execution and strategic pricing. The role focuses on inside sales, customer service, demand management, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturing operations.

The position leads pricing discipline, contract negotiations, and forecast-driven planning, acting as a bridge between customers, sales administration, and plant leadership across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, operations, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in manufacturing-based sales or commercial leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with plant capacity, capabilities, and margin goals.
• Lead inside sales, customer service, and sales operations teams to improve response times and order accuracy.
• Own pricing strategy and margin performance, ensuring profitability targets are met.
• Forecast demand and align with plant production planning and capacity.
• Negotiate contracts with multiple sites to maximize profit while protecting market share.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Operations on cost-based pricing and capital investments.
• Manage senior commercial relationships with strategic customers and long-term programs.
