Precision Castparts is seeking an experienced inside sales/account management professional to support strategic customers from Irvine, CA. The role emphasizes accurate pricing, timely quotes, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will manage customer inquiries, prepare quotes, and collaborate with Estimator and Sales teams to resolve issues while maintaining strong relationships with key contacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5–10 years of inside sales or account management, preferably in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with business-to-business sales.

Responsibilities

• Acts as account manager for an assigned set of strategic customers.
• Provides customer quotations based on internal pricing/database and estimator input.
• Coordinates with Estimator or Inside Sales Manager for accurate pricing.
• Investigates and resolves issues about manufacturing ship dates with customers.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with customers, distributors and internal contacts.
• Completes documentation such as Purchase Orders and ensures correct order entry.
• Coordinates with departments to ensure pricing, shipping and delivery dates align.
• Maintains access to customer portals and acts as backup for additional customers.
