Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a driven sales professional to increase territory revenue by building relationships with potential customers and strengthening ties with existing accounts. You will drive sales plans, meet quotas, and work with customers and vendors to resolve issues and deliver tailored bids.

The role emphasizes field visits, product knowledge, and collaboration with internal teams to expand market share while maintaining service excellence across municipal, private water, and contractor

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable.
• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline with 2–5 years of experience or MS/MA with 2–4 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements sales plans to expand business in the assigned territory.
• Owns and drives sales for a specific book of accounts.
• Conducts calls and on-site customer visits with new and existing customers to solicit orders.
• Answers questions about products, prices, durability, and credit terms; prepares estimates and bids.
