Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Manager on the Strategic Initiatives team to work directly with the President/CSO and other leaders to help Crusoe make big decisions quickly, then implement them. You’ll gather facts, write clear recommendations, and push for a decision, often leading the work until a permanent owner is in place.

The role blends high‑level strategic thinking, analysis, and writing, with relationship-building across internal and external partners and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, or a strategy or chief of staff role at a fast-growing infrastructure, energy, or technology company.
• That should include meaningful time at an operating company, not only in advisory work.
• Strong writing for senior leaders, such as investment memos, board materials, or strategy recommendations backed by numbers.

Responsibilities

• Define each decision up front: who makes it, options, and what must be true; write memos with background, financial analysis, options, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
• Launch programs: set goals, milestones, budget, sponsor, and team; run pilots to test risks and decide whether to scale or pivot.
• Lead cross‑unit projects for the President's office; support leadership meetings, board/investor materials, international expansion, and screening incoming requests.
