Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Strategic Initiatives and Government Operations professional to turn policy, regulatory, and community realities into actionable business decisions. You will work with senior leadership to size opportunities, analyze incentives, and craft recommendations that keep Crusoe profitable and differentiated.

You will design cross-functional processes, build trackers, and create AI-enabled workflows to speed research, reporting, and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years in strategy, government relations, or public affairs.
• Strong Excel models and trackers you can explain end-to-end.
• Fluent English with clear written and verbal communication.
• Hands-on AI fluency: use AI tools for research, analysis and drafting.
• Commercial judgment to assess costs, incentives, and unit economics.
• Operational rigor to maintain accurate trackers and reporting.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% to Crusoe locations.

Responsibilities

• Scope and frame high-priority strategic initiatives with leadership.
• Analyze government, regulatory, community forces and policy impacts.
• Translate forces into commercial implications and site economics.
• Build models and scenario analyses to size opportunities across jurisdictions.
• Create memos and decks with clear recommendations and uncertainties.
• Shape funding and operational models to keep Crusoe profitable and differentiated.
• Design cross-functional workflows linking GA with commercial, energy, development, finance, and sustainability.
• Maintain trackers and datasets showing current jurisdictional status and milestones.
• Prepare briefing materials for officials, utilities, and partners.
• Coordinate engagement timelines and follow-through with communities.
