Job summary

Okta is seeking a Technical Account Manager for strategic/global enterprise accounts. You will serve as primary technical advisor across identity platforms, architect multi-year adoption roadmaps, and partner with CSMs and AEs to expand Okta footprints.

This role combines hands-on demos, PoCs, API validation, and executive communication across complex environments. Travel is required, with onboarding visits to SF or Chicago in the first week; 5+ years in related roles and deep IAM expertise are

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related technical experience in customer-facing engineering roles.
• 3+ years in identity and access management (SSO, MFA, directory services, lifecycle management, or zero trust).
• BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority and trusted advisor for identity leads, enterprise architects, and technical executives within your assigned strategic accounts.
• Independently design and drive multi-year technical adoption roadmaps aligned with customer security posture and business goals.
• Partner with CSMs and Account Executives to secure Okta’s footprint and identify expansion opportunities.
• Hands-On Demos & PoCs: configure test environments and build PoCs for live SAML/OIDC integrations.
• API Prototyping & Advocacy: use Postman to test REST APIs and troubleshoot integrations.
