Job summary

Okta is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as a trusted technical advisor for large enterprise customers, guiding identity strategies aligned with business objectives and security posture.

You will conduct hands-on prototyping, live technical walkthroughs, and API demonstrations, building repeatable assets and ensuring successful deployments across IAM, IGA, PAM, ITDR, and CIAM capabilities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Okta Certified, CISSP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• 3+ years in identity and access management (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management) or security best practices.
• 5+ years of professional experience in roles like TAM, Technical Consultant, or Solution Architect.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor and advocate for large customers.
• Design identity strategies aligned with customer business objectives and security posture.
• Perform hands-on prototyping and live technical walkthroughs (PoCs, test environments, login flows).
• Test and demonstrate OKTA REST APIs using Postman for CRUD operations on users and groups.
• Collaborate with Success and Engineering to resolve issues and escalate when needed.
